CURRENT UPDATES:
July 2011:
Well fans I have good news & bad news!
The Bad news:
I will no longer be at the Clark County Fair.
I have decided that last year was my last year
because the workload was too much for just one person. Besides they have a whole team of people now who will be face painting in a different area.
They asked me back but I am just one person who would work
non-stop for up to 12 hours a day and I had to finally step
down. Sorry to all of my faithful followers who would come
year after year to see me. I will miss you too!
The Good News:
I will now be available the first 13 days of August to come to
YOUR event. I, on average, turned down about 7 to 8 parties
and/or corporate events every year just to do the fair so now
I will be available :-)
WOOHOO! SUMMER IS HERE!

LOOKING FORWARD TO FALL:
As some of you may know, for several years you could also find me at the
Sauvie Island Farms Pumpkin Patch on Sauvies Island where the famous
Amazing Graze' was located which was sponsered by my favorite radio
station The FISH 104.1. Unfortunately, for us all, they are no longer
doing their pumpkin patch so I am looking for another Pumpkin Patch and
I have been contacted by another patch on Sauvies Island so I will keep
you up to date and let you know as soon as I know whether I will be at
another site come October- so check back later.
And if you own a Pumpkin Patch and want a face painter.... I am currently
available for weekends in October :-)

There is still much merriment and excitement ahead.
Remember......any party is made much more fun with
face painting.
PLEASE- ALWAYS CALL EARLY to reserve your next
Birthday party or any other event.

SOME PERSONAL INFORMATION-ABOUT ME
I have done many, MANY 'jobs' in my life. I've been a mom, and am now
a grandmother of 8 who is currently raising one of my 12 yr. old
grandsons on my own again whom I have adopted.
During all this time I've had jobs that went from being a telephone
operator, a singer and a worship leader for over 30 years, a rental agent,
as well as currently even being an ordained minister for several years, just
to name a few, but I must admit there isn't anything quite like seeing a
child's SWEETFACE light up.
I LOVE Face Painting!
I have been dabbling with doing face painting on & off for over 20 years
but I finally decided to start an official business about 6 years ago now. I
am the owner & operator of SweetFace Face Painting. I serve the
Portland/Vancouver area . It all started as a favor for a friend for
Holland/Burgerville years ago and I worked at many of their grand
openings throughout the years. I also did several Christmas parties and
company picnics for them many years ago. I have experience with very
large crowds as well as very small Birthday Parties. I was aked to do the
Clark County Fair in 2005 I have been asked back every year since.
(See Current Info above)
I've done numerous Company picnics for companies such as Comcast at
Bullwinkles in Woodland, Dick Hanna Dealerships of Vancouver at Big
AL's in Vancouver, Holland/Burgerville & Waste Mgt. at Alderbrook in
Vancouver, and Kaiser Permanente at Oaks Park. I've done private
parties at the CM2 (Children's Museam) in Portland, as well as many
schools and churches throughout the greater Portland/Vancouver area. I
work mainly locally but I have traveled as far as Spokane and am willing to
travel for larger events.
I only use Hypoallergenic face products. I always care about what
goes on all those SWEETFACES.
I look forward to adding fun and merriment to YOUR next event.

PRICING INFORMATION:
My rates are very competitive although prices do vary a bit
depending on the size of the party and the type of face painting you
require but an average child's birthday party with up to 20 kids
starts as low as $75.00 an hour.
(There is sometimes a small additional travel fee for out of area parties).
